Why: for what? for what reason, cause or purpose? I should imagine it is the most asked question in history. It is also of course often the start of many a great adventure. The seeking heart (Jer 27:13 “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart”) is for me the central part of any journey we take. It is what, in a very round about way, has brought me here. To write and think, to seek and hold to the promise that I will “find”.
I shall say unreservedly that this is the beginnings [in June 2015] of a journey for me into my purpose in Christ. He who began a good work [in March 2009] will see it finished. You might say that the mission statement of all this is to; untangle, explore, reflect and live out the call of God. This has taken shape around the term MorphUnity. As I’ve constructed this blog, its becoming clearer the depth and far reaching importance that this concept is having on my life. The encouragement from others that I am, at least looking for the right paths (Jer 6:16 “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths; ask where the good way is and walk in it and you will find rest for you souls”) has also given impetuous in going forwards.
So forward I [or hopefully we] shall go. To boldly go where we’ve all thought we’ve been before, but in the hope that the “unity” out of community, might “morph” into a renewing and retelling of the Gospel message for our world today and all our tomorrows.
